Benefit Account for Eric Hoelscher

A benefit account has been established at Ballinger National Bank for Eric Hoelscher.  Eric is currently hospitalized in San Angelo in intensive care after undergoing brain surgery to remove a cancerous growth.  Donations may be taken to Ballinger National Bank. 



Voting Day Poll Locations for November 4 Election

Polling places will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4th for the general election.  Several local, state, and national elections will be decided. 

In Runnels County, voters in Voter Precinct 1 may cast their ballots on election day at the courthouse annex in Ballinger, located at 614 Strong Avenue.

Voting Precinct 2 voters may cast ballots at Elm Creek Grain, located at 302 Hutchings Avenue in Ballinger.

Voting Precinct 3 voters may cast ballots at the Winters Housing Authority at 300 North Grant Street in Winters.

Voting Precinct 4, 5, and 6 voters may cast balots at the Winters Tax Branch Office at 143 West Dale Street. 

Voting Precinct 7 voters may cast their ballots at the Ballinger Community Center.

Voting Precinct 8 voters may cast their ballots at Ballinger City Hall at 700 Railroad Avenue in Ballinger.

Voting Precinct 9 voters may cast their ballots at Miles City Hall, located at 110 Robinson in Miles.

Voting Precicnt 10 voters may cast their ballots at the Rowena Fire Department at 504 Mary Street in Rowena. 



St. Joseph's Fall Festival

The 92nd annual St. Joseph's Fall Festival will be held on Sunday (November 9) at the church grounds in Rowena.  The turkey and country sausage meal will be served from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.  Cost for adult, walk-up and drive through take out plates is $10.00 per each.  The children's games and bingo will be held from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.  Also featured will be a country store and sausage will be sold.  The live auction begins at 1:15 PM in the St. Joseph Parish Hall with cotton sales scheduled for 2:00 PM.  A sausage sandwich supper will be served beginning at 4:30 PM.   



Carnegie Library Christmas Tea

The Carnegie Library will host "A Ballinger Christmas, A Christmas Tea women,, mothers and daughters.  The event will be held on Saturday (December 6) from 10:30 AM to noon in the Mary Sykes Auditorium of the Carnegie Library.  Seating is limit and early ticket purchases are encouraged.   



Melissa Clifton Fundraiser

A fund has been established at 1st Community Federal credit Union for Melissa Clifton. Melissa is currently dealing with cardiac issues and needs help with expenses for medications, hospital bills and medical equipment. Any donation, large or small is greatly appreciated.
